The reception area plays a key role – it is the first point of contact, a space of welcome, and a reflection of a company’s identity. For this project in Austria, carried out by Minihuber, the aim was to create a bright, orderly and aesthetically refined environment that is both functional and welcoming for visitors.
For this purpose, the CUBUS shelving system in white was selected. With its clean lines, minimalist expression and fully custom-made design, it integrates seamlessly into a modern office environment.
A Combination of Open Shelves for Decoration and Greenery
In the reception area, CUBUS is used as an open shelving system designed for decorative elements and plants. Its open structure keeps the space light and airy while adding visual clarity and a sense of order.
In addition to its aesthetic role, the shelves discreetly allow for the placement of smaller practical items such as books, brochures or catalogues, without making the space feel enclosed or visually heavy. Plants integrated into the shelving soften the interior and contribute to a pleasant, contemporary atmosphere.
CUBUS as an Extension of Cabinet Furniture
A distinctive feature of this solution is that CUBUS is installed on top of white cabinet furniture, creating a clear and well-considered functional composition. The lower section provides storage, while the upper part functions as a light, open partition element that visually defines the space without blocking light or closing it off.
The white finish of the CUBUS system blends harmoniously with the rest of the interior, highlighting clean architectural lines and reinforcing a sense of order and clarity.
